Giving the OP-1 and OP-Z a Classic Wood Synth Stand

We recently introduced a new synth stand for the OP-1 and OP-Z. It takes the understated design we started with and makes it more... well... OVER-stated! It gives the wonderful small case of the OP-1 and teeny case of the OP-Z the classic wood synthesizer stand it deserves - with wood on all sides.

This new "Classic" stand sits beautifully in front of many other devices and makes the OP-1 or OP-Z easier to use in combination with other synthesizers, samplers, mixers, sequencers and more - or solo!

But - what if you want your other devices in front of the OP-1 or OP-Z? 

That little device quickly gets lost behind almost any device.... We heard from several customers that they wanted the OP-1 and the OP-Z to have a place BEHIND another device. So we designed a solution to this problem.

The OP-1 and OP-Z Riser Stand

We designed a way to raise the OP-1 or OP-Z to a level that can be behind and above other devices. Rather than making a completely new stand, we wanted to give people who have the classic stand a way to raise it. We also wanted to give people how get the Riser Stand a way to lower it back down to ground zero (the desktop level) for those times they decide to play the instrument in front of other devices or just on its own.

The Riser Stand is a separate stand which allows the classic OP-1 stand or OP-Z stand to be placed firmly ON TOP of it - to raise it by three, five, or six inches! There are different height configurations, and we're finding six inches to be the most commonly requested.

The Classic Stand and the Riser Stand come in different finishes of wood - Cherry, Maple (shown above) and Walnut - with more options likely on a limited basis.
